Carpet First Or Trim

Personally i think it looks better with the baseboards and trim in first especially upon the second time carpet is installed because the installers don t pull the trim and get in close when they pull old carpet and put in new.

There are many legitimate reasons to do construction work in the proper sequence. Second drywall would wick up moisture from flooded floors or carpet. Install the baseboard before the carpet install and have the installer tuck the carpet under the baseboard or do the b.
