Can Roomba Climb Stairs

I have the roomba 890 it fell down the stairs going to the entryway only 4 steps scared the hell out of me but it is still ok working great.

Can roomba climb stairs.

The irony of it is that there s a clamor for something that the robot is designed to avoid in the first place. The robot has flawless navigation stellar cleaning and advanced features which sets it apart from all other vacuum robots available in the market. There are infrared sensors mounted underneath pointing straight downward so roomba can detect what it calls cliffs stairs and steep drops. The roomba has come a long way when it comes to churning out state of the art cleaning features but after all these years it still can t climb up the stairs. Just because it didn t doesn t mean it won t.

Can roombas climb the stairs. Some minor scrapes but nothing major. What it can and cannot do. The roomba 650 and roomba i7 robots were used for test.

So roombaand stairs definitely do not go well together. It x2019 s not fast it x2019 s not smart it needs your help x2026. But it does clean the carpets. Cleaning stairs is one of the things it can t do.

Irobot roomba 960 the roomba 960 is one of the best vacuum robots which can be used for cleaning stairs and floor. In many cases it does a wonderful job of cleaning under things.
