To build the drawers i ripped 1 2 plywood down into 8 1 2 wide strips then cut the pieces down to size on my miter saw. I used my router to add a 1 4 dado groove to the drawer pieces then rounded off the top edges of the drawer pieces with a 1 8 router bit. Build the cleats out of 1 6 lumber and the panel slats out of 2 6 lumber. These drawers have a 1 4 plywood bottom.
